Question 1

Will this break my website design?

Accepted Answer

Mega Speed is built with safety in mind. Features like "Delay JS Safe Mode" prevent common issues with sliders and animations. However, if something looks off, you can easily exclude specific scripts or CSS files from the settings.

Question 2

Does this plugin modify my .htaccess file?

Accepted Answer

No, all caching is handled seamlessly without touching your `.htaccess` file.

Question 3

Do I need a CDN like Cloudflare?

Accepted Answer

It's highly recommended but not required. If you use Cloudflare, you can add your API keys in our settings to sync cache purging automatically.

Question 4

Does this plugin slow down my wp-admin?

Accepted Answer

No. Because it uses a Zero-Load Architecture, the heavy lifting happens on our cloud servers. Your local server CPU and RAM are completely unaffected by optimization processes.

Question 5

Does it work with WooCommerce?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Pages like Cart, Checkout, and My Account are automatically excluded from the page cache to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

Question 6

Is it compatible with WooCommerce or eCommerce sites?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Mega Speed is fully compatible with WooCommerce. We automatically exclude dynamic pages like Cart, Checkout, and My Account from the cache to ensure your customers have a seamless shopping experience.

Question 7

What is Agentic Browsing?

Accepted Answer

It's a new feature that generates an `llms.txt` file for your site. This allows AI bots and Large Language Models (like ChatGPT) to easily read and understand your site's content.

Question 8

What is Agentic Browsing?

Accepted Answer

Agentic Browsing is an experimental feature that acts as a smart background assistant. It anticipates where your visitors are likely to click next and preloads those specific pages in the background. When the user finally clicks the link, the page loads instantly.

Question 9

How do I clear the cache?

Accepted Answer

You can click the "Clear Cache" button inside the plugin dashboard, or use the quick-access link in the WordPress admin bar.

Question 10

How does the "Safe Mode" for Delay JS work?

Accepted Answer

Delaying JavaScript execution is great for PageSpeed scores, but it can sometimes break critical elements like mobile menus or sliders. "Safe Mode" intelligently excludes essential internal scripts from being delayed, giving you the best of both worlds: high scores and a fully functional layout.

Question 11

Will the Remove Unused CSS (UUCSS) feature break my site?

Accepted Answer

Removing unused CSS is a very aggressive optimization technique. While our engine is highly accurate, it is currently labeled as a BETA feature because complex themes or page builders can occasionally have required styles removed. We recommend testing your site thoroughly after enabling it.

Question 12

What happens if I uninstall the plugin?

Accepted Answer

Our plugin follows strict cleanup rules. If you uninstall it, all cache folders (`wp-content/mega-cache`), advanced cache drop-ins, and database settings are permanently deleted to keep your site clean.
